Sophia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University and has since been working in the private practice sphere.
With a background in competitive swimming and netball (and more recently AFL!), Sophia believes in the medicine of movement and is passionate about helping people from all walks of life return to their optimal physical function. Whether you’re a weekend warrior soccer player, a more competitive athlete or you’re struggling with niggly aches and pains, Sophia ensures you have a clear understanding of your injury and works with you to create goals that will see you back to your commitments in no time!
Sophia has experience working in the private hospital sector as an allied health assistant which saw her aiding in the treatment of post-operative orthopaedic cases, cardiorespiratory conditions and neurological rehabilitation. To complement her hospital and private practice experience, Sophia also has a keen interest in sports injury management and rehabilitation. Working with a mix of community AFL and netball clubs, as well as holding a casual sports trainer position with the Brisbane Lions AFL club in their 2019 season has provided her with a great rehab knowledge base to help get you back on the field with full confidence in your body.
When she’s not in the clinic you’ll find Sophia walking her two pups, working out in the gym, or scoping out the best acai bowls on the beaches.
